This November, let’s move, act, and learn with action words in Bisaya! Kids love words they can act out, and these simple ones are part of our everyday life. From eating to playing, these are the perfect starter words for our little learners (and even for the young at heart). Every word counts, right?

Why action words?

We love to move — and kids do too! Action words are part of our everyday life, and they’re some of the easiest for children to remember because they can act them out. These are words you can really use every day, from mealtime to playtime. And remember, every little bit counts when learning a new language.

This Month’s Focus: Action words

Here are the Bisaya words we’ll be practicing for the next 4 weeks:

✅ Kaon

Meaning: Eat
💡 Example: Kaon ta! (Let's eat!)

✅ Tulog

Meaning: Sleep
💡 Example: Tulog na. (Go to sleep.)

✅ Lakaw

Meaning: Walk
💡 Example: Lakaw lang. (Just walk.)

✅ Duwa

Meaning: Play
💡 Example: Duwa ta. (Let's play.)
